500mb high pressure offshore. Surface high sliding down out of the Yukon.

We still need an upper ridge of high pressure to our NW to block the pattern.

It’ll be interesting to see verification scores throughout the winter with the very recent GEM upgrade.

No simple SardineMan..mostly cold locked jn with troffs dumping dry snow periodically followed by cold re loads. Followed by major override event at end. Like has happened many times here before..not so much recently. Coastal sliders are sooooo marginal..mostly mixed bag with higher hills scoring but other areas slushy messes. Cmon...u just move to LM a few years ago?
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

Is anyone buying this early season cold fart? I recall back in the mid 70's a just after Halloween cold snap had some brief snow with it fairly dry though not sure how we came out of it I think it just moderated.

Nito is the antithesis of this site and all of us snowbutties...he is the snow lovers best nemesis. He relishes watching us get depressed by "raining" down on us so to speak...in the times of hope and promise. Can you not see this butties? He is the prototypical ANTAGONIST :blah:

Yes Nito is like HeatMizer. Always sour and ever present. And always a step away from "warming us up" 8-)
