Those look amazing overall, but the summers are just too cold for me. Other than than, pretty nice -- but the lack of daylight in the winter at that latitude would probably be a drag.

That's a good point about the daylength. I'm finding the days too short already.

It is interesting, my wife comments about the lack of daylight in the winter too. It has never bothered me though. I just enjoy something about dark and gloomy.

I like those places but they are just too dry.

BTW, speaking of too dry, when you are in Whittier, AK where they get 4,000mm/year, and drive through a tunnel and on the other side they get more like 400mm per year.
