Another frigid day!

Still wearing my shorts during the last couple of fall day's Tfrigid, today Sunday was perfect 25c was my high @ the pond in south Sardis.

Currently my temp is 13.5° on my northern thermometer and 16.5° on the western , 15° on the EC white rock station, 14° on cellphone weather app for white rock and 12° on my car thermometer . There , I've got the temperature surrounded. Will the real white rock temperature please stand up!

13.5÷16.5×15+14-12=22 sounds perfect to me skipper Gimps could always get Corporal Slim Shady for final approval.

Like what happened in 1991. Significant flooding in the Sea the Sky region at the end of August that year. Even the October floods of 2003 followed months of drier than normal conditions. The ground couldn't absorb any moisture. There is also, of course, no deep snowpack in August or even in October, to absorb the rainfall thus leading to more rapid run off at the higher levels.
I don't think we're gonna see a switch to a rainy pattern anytime soon anyway, the models are flip flopping a lot. The trend is drier than normal for the next 2 weeks according to the latest CPC.

For me a B+
Although it got off to a slow start with Juneuary and Julapril l quite enjoyed the short heat humps half humps almost heat domes. Followed by comfortable temperatures the duration of the heat at least made it tolerable. The longest all summer was what 6 day's max the one event. A non existent fire season out side of the Keremeos Creek fire made it enjoyable after last years devastating fire season.
On a disappointing note the numerous risk of thunderstorm forecast busts and just the absence of any significant thunderstorms this summer was a bummer.

I'd give it a A-, just enough heat to have something to complain about , lots of rain early on so it's been pretty green and no smoke. Could have been more exciting yes, but at least it wasn't insufferable...and the blackberries are plump, juicy and abundant! Definitely bumps it up a partial grade!
