September 2022 Forecasts and Discussions

Post by stuffradio »

It's hard to believe I already have to create this thread. We're going to start seeing Thanksgiving commercials in a couple of weeks and we might start getting Egggrog soon :)

I have seen people talk about September being a tale of two patterns, one with more troughing on the West coast and then later on more ridging. We shall see how it plays out.

Like the old saying goes in these parts it's always 10 days away.

Happy meteorological Fall! I don't know why the weather app shows rain all weekend when none of the models show rain.

Nice marine push, currently 19-20°. Marine clouds to the west, I presume at boundary Bay.

Very inaccurate Corporal Goose, no wonder it's called a furnace. Stevenson screen over clay ground conductor of heat. :13fire:
It's currently 28c @ the pond in south Sardis under hazy clear skies.

Looks like a layer of smoke looking towards Chilliwack and Mt. Cheam, from Abbs.

Not local weather, but I was just down in Vegas for a few days and it was 43/44 degrees there everyday.

It felt a bit weird to walk around at midnight and be sweating with temps in the mid 30's.

Close to record breaking down there.

Looking like these hot summers are no longer the anomalies as they become the new norm.
