Unfortunately most of it comes at the end of the run. We've seen that story before.

14th-15th-16th would've been fun to experience. From relatively mild AR heavy rains quickly to an arctic front with snow and rapidly falling temps, followed by clear and frigid. Temp spread (high/lows) at Agassiz looks like winds were likely blasting out from NE too.

Given the pattern we're in and can't seem to escape from, I'm starting to develop some serious concern about a very abnormal snow pack this coming spring and even more concerned about the ski season being delayed by a month.

I am worried about the local ecology. Many native trees and plant species are dying and decaying due to the drought and the local streams are running way too low for salmon to migrate. Soil core profiles show decaying of root strucrures and loosening up of soils.

00Z EPS was a big step in the right (wetter) direction. Many more members beginning to show measurable precip.
