It's crazy how quickly it shot up, I was paying $1.70 in early September.

Unfortunately Houndpal, nothing in this world goes by the law anymore just look at the mass
stranger attacks, l'm off topic l know but isn't this a sign of a world gone mad l know alot of it is probably drug crazed fentynol induced but still. So high gas prices is a sign of a failing society it's too late to fight the fighting should have started years ago all the BS in the world wouldn't be happening today.
I'm 63 you younger folks need to take up the cause with your MP's to demand change. IMO

I bought two used diesel Jettas this year (one for commuting myself and one for my son). Diesel is far more efficient and engine will last 800,000 km. Government hates it though because sales taxes from buying news cars brings in huge money. I get 5 l/100km. My Sienna and Nitro get 11 l/100 km. Even with higher diesel prices I am saving 100s of dollars a month in fuel cost.

That's outstanding Glace, l work 30 kmh from home a tank of reg. gas cost me 75.00 to fill up my economical Pontiac Vibe that lasts me a week since l do a 12 hour shifts 3 on 4 then 4 on 3 off.

Really? I will never say diesel shmiesel ever again. You kinda wonder then why aren't more diesel vehicles made. My one pet peeve with diesel vehicles is when the owner decides to floor it right in front of me and spews black exhaust smoke all over my face  . I learned my lesson, I now mainly drive with the vents closed, especially in the city, actually it helps to keep exhaust smells out in general.

So where's this promised 35c drop in gas prices another trick or treat. 🎃 probably end up with line ups around the block or stations will conveniently run out of gas.

High gas prices are one way to do it. Also fuel surcharge on BC Ferries and Canada Post! So stay home and hide under your bed.

Alot of Globals coverage during this gas debacle l found has been incorrect, it makes me wonder there news sources.
Obviously someones not fact checking there stories.IMO.
1.89c in central valley l was at half a tank put 40 bucks in up to a full tank.
And of course all islands were full at the station l go to on Luckakuck way. one guy had 2 large jerry cans, so l said jokingly said it must be a fuel sale he laughed and sheepishly said yeah normally l don't do this.
