It seems like New West, parts of Surrey, North Delta, and White Rock were the ones who scored at least 3 cm. White Rock had 4 cm of new snow when I was there at around 5 PM.

But yeah, the event was super lame for many.

Kristi G said another wave tonight around 10ish. north Chilliwack received 4cm, south Sardis 2cm.

To be fair this was never going to be a widespread snow event for Metro Vancouver. Temperatures were going to be marginal and any snow was going to be contingent of precipitation intensity.

True. But I've read some posts giving Nito a tough time like it was some kind of big snow event. For more than half of the LML, it was nothing. Mostly rain.

I think you mistake giving a tough time for honest and friendly ribbing. He has a warm bias and plays that role to perfection. Temperatures were never going to be plus 5. Even at sea level. Doesn’t mean we don’t appreciate his insight. He’s definitely knowledgeable and I think he takes all of this in stride. I hope anyway.

Not really , after reading the original piano man a few times it became obvious which characters to insert in the verses, and the chorus was easy , and I usually try to leave as much of the original wording as possible which I think is key to a good parody song.

The GFS never put much snow in the forecast. Up to 4cm maybe. It’s the model Cherry picking that got some excited. As usual, the GEM model BS.

Last night the HRRR was almost bang on with light rain to snow to light rain to snow.

We appreciate Nitos insights and knowledge Boner man, and the joking and ribbing aside, l got kinda choked about it last week due to the fact the weather was crappy and scary for alot of commuters myself being one of them and trying to read between the jokes and reality of what was really going to happen was not funny and l think for alot of lurkers as well. In other words there's a time for joking and last week was not the time.
