Lots of cold air available. Just no mechanism to drive it out to the coast. Trough kinda digs a bit too far SW too.

Whatever was done to the models in the past 3 years has made snow forecasting a nightmare. This would definitely be snow at the 300- 500 level but wow those amounts are off for sea level.

Perhaps an erroneous elevations input due to our mountainous terrain?

WRF shows much much less which takes our topography into account.
