If we do see a little surface low spin up there could be a brief period of snow especially if we see some convergence with the modified arctic front Sunday evening. Not looking likely of course, but the possibility is there.

It will definitely be a nowcast scenario if something like that pops up.

Pretty impressive daytime highs on Tuesday for early November.

I would be shocked if YVR records a subfreezing high temp during this cold snap. Could see highs around 2-4c Monday through Wednesday though.

As much as I'd like to see what the current GFS is spitting out, I'm thinking the new GFS might have this right. I would welcome the opportunity to be proven wrong though.

No overrunning event on the 18z... shows the precip shield on Thursday getting shredded by the dry air and outflow before it even reaches the lower mainland. Gradual warmup in the meantime.
