Wow! Insane winds hitting here right now, the gusts are preceded by snapping and falling tree noises behind our place and then you know a big gust is coming!

I follow numerous personal weather stations here in Chilliwack and it was interesting when the winds picked up past 6 this evening my temp spiked to 13 from 5, roughly half the weather stations were still showing 5 with no winds and the other half either 13 or 14 with strong winds even after 30 minutes or so.
Nice your just around the corner from me l'm not far from Watson/Promontory Mr. Fudge.

wind just picked up all of a sudden here.
gusting to 65km/h!

normally we are sheltered a bit despite being not too far from the slough. could be an interesting night

That wind really came in like a brick wall...not even a gradual ramp up just went from 0-60 in minutes.

Weird how the strong winds are barely reaching the northern burbs it appears. it's been close to storm force gusts in the central valley for a couple of hours already.
