Sometimes the models revert back to their initial solutions and other times they permanently collapse. What we are seeing right now is the typical flip flopping run to run. No need to be concerned yet.

There is still a very good chance of a significant arctic blast and at least one region wide snowfall.

Think about it this way: the end result is already set in stone. We are just trying to figure out what that is through some impressive and yet imperfect human technology. Which seems somewhat pointless when you circle back to the fact that nature will do what it wants no matter what the models say. It's purely for entertainment purposes and frankly leads to way more let downs than not.

But it's fun so we do it anyways. It's like being a fan of say, a certain local hockey team. The key is to enjoy the wins and shrug off the losses. The way people down south act it's like they've never seen this before. That's what confuses me about it.

Don't get me wrong, the flip flopping is maddening. I'm glad in times like these I'm not a local meteorologist.

Yes l totally agree Kells referencing the local hockey team fits perfect but it's several day's in winter with the collapse at least we don't endure that garbage for day's on end with the models.

That's what's crazy to me.. They have seen this 1000 times over and still act like they never seen this before. It's like they set themselves up for disaster every winter.

Yeah, but the temps don't correlate properly. The meteogram I posted previously is the raw output for temps. You can look at the actual frames on the Op and see it too.
