Buy BC lettuces seeds and git planting for farm fresh greens, instead of USA "sprayed" produce
Edit:
Its lettuce season. Its all over..no snow incoming until maybe March, just like Nito told us, but tell us again Nito!
Even then, i'll take my chances that the lettuces will survive!

Just can't buy that perfect 500 mb pattern this year. Everything else is on the table, but not that.

And what's shown on the map I posted is not even the ideal 500mb pattern. As modelled, the polar low comes down over the water from the NW. Would generate a cold onshore flow and perhaps some strong outflow gusts in the valley. But it wouldn't be a classic arctic airmass. For that, we would want the polar lobe to come in from the NE and dump arctic into SWBC/PNW and then come out over the water. That would result in a surface low, which would bring an outflow wind event and or snowfall depending on the exact track. While we can get low elevation snow with a cold onshore flow, that is increasingly rare these days, especially so late in the season. I'm still hopeful we can score some late season snow but I doubt it.
