I believe so, yes. Trough was modeled to be too far offshore (west) before it trended east within 96hrs, hence the colder and snowier result.

Burns Bog has recorded temperatures down to -8c this month (last Saturday).

What happens next week is whatever at this point. The Saturday into late Monday time frame looks to be potentially fun. Focus on that and let the other details sort themselves out.

I like this part. Where the interests of the southerners kind of diverge from our interests, as the more minute details take over and it becomes a bit of north v south. And we all know who tends to win that battle.
