Meteorologist Pete Parsons with the "Oregon Department of Forestry" released his seasonal forecast today for October-December. :D :thumbup:

His analogs are 1956, 1971, and 2008. All three of those winters were epic in terms of cold and snow for the Pacific Northwest.

Of course there are never any guarentees but we could be in for another good winter this upcoming season. :14clown: :flakey:

No problem. :thumbup: I really enjoy his updates as well. I discovered him last year when somebody posted his analogs on the American forums.

I think he did an excellent job last winter with his forecast and his thoughts and analogs for this upcoming season are also very reasonable.
