I worked at a summer camp in the early 2000s near Cultus Lake. I know all about that. :)

Been in southern Vietnam for the last month. Phew, it was steamy every day. Highs only 30 to 33 but with humidity, think 40 to 45. Every single damn day. It's the start of rainy season for them but the heat remains for a bit yet. Oh, but the crazy amount of thunder and lightning was spectacular. Forecasting there is a joke. No way to know what it's going to ever do in an hour, especially when even current observations were wrong. Just the nature of a humid tropical climate I suppose.

Coming back home is incredible. Really appreciate the temperate climate now more than ever. It's usually dull but at least we can FUNCTION in it. Over there, even the locals get heat sick.

Anyway it was an amazing trip of a lifetime. Beautiful country, friendly people and I do recommend a visit if you get a chance.

Now back to reality next week I suppose but at least we will have sunny warm and not humid weather to enjoy. ;)
Burnaby Mountain @ 365 m..

Stats? Fresh out of those. But I win anyway. I got all the inches.

Been to Singapore so l know what you went through, l remember the locals telling me if the clouds turned a greenish color there would be thunder and lightning. I couldn't have my morning coffee outside l would break out in a sweat at first sip. Ice coffee was probably the way to go. Also l found if l drank a pop in that heat l wanted more which l didn't fall for and stuck to water.
