This was the 18Z Euro for the next 3 days.
Doubtful we cool that much for Wednesday but the nights should be back well below 20c at least by then.
The interior will continue to roast thru late week but the extreme heat will gradually shift east and fizzle. Lytton and Kamloops definitely still 42c+ tomorrow but the most anomalous temps will likely be in the southern/southeast interior by Wednesday and Thursday where the extreme heat will continue in places like Castlegar and Cranbrook.

The HRRR shows 34.7C with a humidex of 39.2C at 1PM tomorrow in Abbotsford. Defiantly cooler than the past few days but still considered heat wave criteria by normal standards. That said, I think the evenings will cool off significantly this week, so that should help even if the peak highs are still hot.

Looks like it's also showing a low of 30c for Abbotsford early tomorrow morning based on that graph. That's not gonna verify.

Got to Whistler safe and sound , 38-39°. Had lunch and spent a couple of hours at Alpha lake. It was too hot in the sun and too cold in the water, beach too close to the creek mouth with ice cold glacier water feeding the lake, back to the shade I went...Yeah yeah I know I'm a wimp.
Going to Alta lake tomorrow in the hopes of getting a glimpse of the Alta lake Martian .

Looks pretty convective starting late tomorrow in the interior. Especially for the Thompson and south Cariboo

Ironically... covering up (one layer of light coloured clothes) in the sun with these kind of temps is pretty smart.

You're probably right, that photo is from Aug, 2017 at Alta lake during the big smoke out, unfortunately the smoke kinda ruined things for my wife's aunt who was visting from England, but she did have a good chat with the Martian, promised not abduct any family members.
