Okay I figured it out I think. Thanks. You actually have to go to the Twitter website. I was using the app on my phone. No embed tweet option on the app apparently

The concern shifts towards the rapid development of forest fires and smoke we are going to see. I see no precip the next 2 weeks with temps well above normal.
We already have smoke in our mid layers.
Smoke could reach the lower tropo in the LM by the weekend.
If this province were wise then they would issue a travel ban and close up all the parks this long weekend. Sadly I see a lot of stupid people starting fires.
Yes Nito!! Lockdown and Travel ban again!!!
Keep those dumb 604's from the city away!!
Well..we don't live here...we can start a fire...it won't affect our city home at all..there are fire crews..we pay our taxes...
January 2025 incoming..looks like more Pineapples..Happy New Year!

Is it just me or is anyone else confused as to why Environment Canada extended the heat warning through the rest of the week?
Temps are still above average and many structures here are built to insulate heat rather than release it. Thermometer in my closet read 34 degrees this morning despite the house temp reading 25C. The house temp will likely go up this afternoon. It will take a few more days to clear out residual heat trapped inside homes and structures. For this reason a heat warning is still appropriate even if air temps are no longer rising above 35 degrees.
Lytton is so cold right now that it's barely warmer than BC's coldest and highest elevation weather station, Yoho National Park at 1600m. brrr...
Kinda cold in Lillooet too. Colder than even Clinton which sits way up above 1100m...

Its so nice and cool outside. 22C here. I'm having doubts that we actually get up to the forecast 29C high today.
Good chance that forecast will bust. The marine push is stronger than modeled.
Max of 21°C so far here today, at noon. Since then the clouds and sea breeze have dropped the temp to 19.
