Appears that some on here might get their wish as we head deeper into the month.

As long as we don't get another 2021 Atmospheric river event. Isn't that 8-10" of rain for us in the south coast? 10" is 254 mm.

That’s exactly what Coquitlam needs to have a monthly normal rainfall...

Quite a bit of mountain snow being shown on the latest GFS runs.

Cool and wet pattern upcoming?

More clown range windstorm fantasy forecast jokes. Of course there's still very low confidence for major widespread wind impacts over the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. That said, there is some ensemble support so it's definitely worth watching. Check out that massive cyclone approaching Northern Vancouver Island. Imagine if it were to come in further south over the Central or Southwest part of the Island. :silent:  :14clown:

Here's the 12Z Euro valid for Tuesday, October 28th at 11:00PM:

Yet more windstorm fantasy fun showing up on the 00Z Euro and its ensembles in the clown range. While confidence remains very low, it's interesting to see these stormy solutions appearing on a run to run basis. At the very least, it looks like the weather in the PNW will get active soon.  :14clown:

Here's the 00Z Euro run valid for Saturday, October 25th at 5:00AM:

And here's the 00Z Euro ensemble run:
Member 35 shows a max gust of 127km/h in Abbotsford.

The clowns continue to be active today. Here’s the 06Z Euro AI run. Doubt it verifies but I’m having fun tracking these fantasy windstorm solutions. Map valid for Sat/Sun of next weekend.  :14clown:
