There's so much happening this month. Sardine man and his family are moving to Harrison, Thanksgiving is coming up, some kids get tricks and others treats and it's the start of Q4.

And the start of hockey season, MLB playoffs it's Rocktober month. Christmas will quickly approach as well egg grog and much more.

Looks like October starts wet but only for the first couple of days. Models diverge beyond next week, some are showing Ridge-tober. If that's the case , this will be a very similar october to 2013 and 2018. Both those years saw a wet weather pattern in late September and even at the beginning of October, only to be followed by weeks of ridging and a long dry spell.

And then the nonstop rains began after Thanksgiving with strong zonal flow for three straight months... until ridging returned in January 2013 with an inversion, although we did score a pre-Christmas snowstorm on Dec 18th/19th that dropped 20-30cm.

We're officially in Q4 and October. Only about 4 weeks and 4 days until we switch to standard time.
