Now, it is permeated with heavy discussions under the guise of "weather." We used to leave those topics in the appropriate threads, no matter how quiet this thread was. It really is too bad because we've already lost a couple of valuable posters because of it. And they will be sorely missed this winter if they decide to stay on the sidelines.
The relative lack of drama here compared to the American forum was one thing I always appreciated. It seems that may be ending.

I missed the opening shots in the last drama escapade, so I have not taken sides in it, as I lack knowledge of exactly what was said to provoke the ban.

I will say that if (note the if) the moderators really do have a double standard, that is unfortunate and something should be done about it.
It's called clown range for a reason.

I will say that I try to be as off-hands as possible as that has always been my motto ever since starting to moderate/admin forums since the very early 2000s. Please make it so we don't need to be heavy handed because that means we don't have much drama. I don't want rules and I don't want to make rules. I don't see much in the way of reported posts. If you're having problems, make use of the feature.

I don’t think bans are necessary, not sure what 2 members you’re Talking about. Let’s just drop the dramatic climate change stuff we all know it’s happening just have different levels of concern which is allowed in a free country :P

Good night I will post less or not at all as I think some don’t want me here.
It's the real sardine John  no one's ask you to stop posting or leave your just as welcomed as any other members your taking it to personal.
On that note l got my cell back today thus time for Slim Jim shady to disappear.
I saw 23.5c at the pond in south Sardis today.

I I got banned a couple of weeks ago for no reason from Leighbugs, but I don't blame her. She's not on here enough to see what happens she just saw me reacting, but I did find it tasteless she decided to make mocking posts right after doing that, referring to herself to frozen and making jokes about it. Moderators shouldn't be doing that. Not professional whatsoever.

Yet Hawk and John have free reign on this forum when they start fights 24/7

I do think there are double standards when they have been entitled to get away with stuff for years and years. If they were dealt with years ago, none of this would be happening.

At the end of the day, tho, we have good moderators for the most part, and they do their best. Stuff and Bono are great at there job and I respect them both.

I like this forum because there aren't rules, and it's not like we are being muted, but certain things have escalated.

Need some rain. I can't catch any fish. They are jumping around me and not biting at anything. Soon I might have to pull the snag gear out and go to the vedder and if that fails, start netting.
