That said, I'd go with the Euro over the GFS so we'll see what it shows tonight. For what its worth, the 12Z had 42C on Monday.

Its nice to see the GFS is no longer showing 46C for Abbotsford on Monday.

That said, I'd go with the Euro over the GFS so we'll see what it shows tonight. For what its worth, the 12Z had 42C on Monday.

Looks like the 00Z GEM is coming in significantly hotter for Monday then the 12Z. Typical model chaos for our region.

Re: June 2021 Forecasts And Discussions
My soccer team still hasn't cancelled practice Sunday night. Fake masculinity. "We'll deal with the heat boys!". It'll obviously get cancelled eventually, maybe after a municipality or two declares a state of emergency. I'm exaggerating obviously, although I'm curious what the threshold for heat would be to declare one.

I hope so! One thing I hate worse than a failed snow forecast is a verified heat wave!
25c for me all the way!
Hell no to 30c and above.

Murphy’s Law of Busts states that busted cold forecasts are far more likely than busted heat forecasts.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Here are tonights model runs. Not much improvement for those who don't want a memorable heat wave. In fact, the GEM went way hotter.
