Pomoman wrote: Thu Jan 21, 2021 4:56 pm I’m curious to see how Burnaby Mtn does in comparison is those above 300m on Westwood and on Catnip Hill/Mundy Park area. When I was at sea level in Port Moody I would always see clouds and fog bunch up a little bit on the north facing side of Catnip Hill and during snow and outflow events you could see the visibility decrease as you went up. Can’t say the same with the further away Westwood Plateau until the very top of the development. As Burnaby Mtn is also a stand alone hill, much higher than Mundy I want to be hopeful of what may come. So far this season I’ve seen it snow on 3 or 4 occasions with accumulating snows twice. Dec 21 was around 10 cm and it stuck for days until we warmed up. Usually we are 1 to 2 degrees colder than at the bottom of the hill. So anyway I couldn’t even begin to guess how I’ll do Sunday but I can’t wait to see. I suspect 10 cm if there is enough precipitation.
You will do better than here, for sure.

Just to give you an idea, this area seems to be equivalent (in terms of snowfall) to the area around the Gagliardi/BM Parkway intersection up top. Using a map tool online it shows that intersection is at about 800' in elevation.

Pornoman..in a normal winter, you would feel like you were living in a different climate. If the winters ever revert back to what we used to get, you would be happy and get way more snow than us other folk. I recall many winters where the snow level would be low for a large part of the winter. Im talking 500 to 1500 feet. This is where you would see the big difference in snow. This year, it seems like it has been hovering around 3000-4000 feet mostly, with hardly any snow below 2000 feet this year :help:
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

Biden was the only other option. If he is that bad, then that shows how bad the Trumpet was :liar: :liar:
