Since Nov 1, this has EN written all over it with these ugly high snow levels. Brutal
Who would have guessed( besides possibly Nito) that we'd be stuck in an AR/bommy pattern lock from Nov 1 to Jan 1? Tell us again how the climate here sucks Nito!!
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

I wrote a few days ago that the can was probably going to get kicked down the road.

My money is still on the first half of January.
It's called clown range for a reason.

What was Jan 2012 like here? It was pretty cold and snowy in Seattle.

Bellingham did pretty well in the cold and snow department in Jan 2020.

I think it's just random chance that we've had so many dud Januaries. It's not like it's March we're talking about.

Five days of snow and cold in an otherwise mild month.

Last cold January around these parts was back in 1993.

I agree, it is HIGH time we have a nice cold January. I remember 1993 distinctly because mid month we flew to Texas and I remember seeing snow on the ground through the window all the way from Vancouver all the way through northern Arizona/New Mexico on the way. And there was still snow on the ground in Abbotsford upon our return 10 days later. That was an awesome winter :)

We're definitely due for a cold January, and the law of averages usually always takes over (if we get super warm for a while, the cold is round the corner).

GFS and GEM bring the warmth in the LR. This could be the warmest November-December and my gut says January will torch too.

We'll pay for this. Probably a cold March, April and May coming up!
