I remember that Mission ice storm and going to get a hair cut in Mission while thinking about Brock Boeser.

Quite the rug pull by EC... from sunny and 20C through Saturday to rain and 9C. Would be funny if it wasn't so sad. I feel sorry for people who planned their week around that forecast.

Really surprised Cootes made the Knuckles opening night roster he's only 18! :o plus afew others any thoughts forum hockey fans.? It's currently 20c @ the lake in Harrison.

Central Coquitlam (@Catnip's neighbourhood) and Westwood Plateau had snow on the ground continuously for over three months, from early December through early-mid March. Even at lower elevations here in the #BananaBelt, some piles of snow survived through the January thaw.

Typer inspired me to go back and look at some pics.

That was a pretty epic winter. Lots of snow and Como Lake was very frozen that year. It was also the year of Salt shortage!

The 2016/17 winter was one of the best here since 2008/09. In fact, I'd say even better since the cold was so persistent over the Dec to Feb period. That early Feb snowstorm was a nice bonus to an already solid winter. I'd love a repeat if any of the better old school analogs are off the table. :lol: :wave:
