The GFS will sober up tonight. Cut the snow totals in half, in line with all the other models.
The GFS isn't actually that drunk. The only thing is it's not driving the low into VI like the other models. It might be 50 miles of difference between the models but that'll be the difference between no southerly flow and some southerly flow.
It's a small outlier in positioning the low which causes it to be a huge outlier on snowfall.
2025-26 season stats:
Climo
∞ to 0.5
GFS
Season total: 0.5 cm and TWO traces!
Peak depth: 0.5 cm (01/07/2026)

Nope.
It will hold firm and we will all be pleasantly surprised.

10-15cm with local blowing snow. That's my call.
Been expecting 10cm here since yesterday. Certainly more than enough snow to shovel!
(Not to say I won't be happy with more)

Don't post 10:1 ratio maps
Kuchera ratios showing more like 10-15 cm as opposed to 25 cm on these 10:1 maps
It will be wet snow

If it stays all snow watch out
This storm is putting out 30-60mm of liquid precip. May be the Snow extreme we have been waiting for
Of all times in November. Would cripple the city
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++
Willoughby Langley at ~320ft / Similkameeeens ~3400ft

The best type of snow to retain once we drop below freezing Wednesday night.

Makes me think of 2016-17...Streets were like ice hockey rinks and people were skating up and down the alley near me.
