Good news is that they haven't reported any injuries so far. As someone who is scared of flying at the best of times, I'd probably have a heart attack if I was onboard.![]()

We had the same here for about two hours as well.VanCitySouth wrote: ↑Tue Nov 29, 2022 10:47 pm Oh thank God it's raining.
Trust me, you'd think it was a mercy too if you were dealing with whatever ice cement concrete crap we had for the past 2 hours.
I haven't quit team snow. I'm just not on team slush LOL
Shoveled 2cm of that crap and weighed a ton but we still lost about 2cm of snow cover in the same period.
Light-moderate rain currently. 0.5c, dp 0.2c.
Snow has really compacted, settled depth is about 5-8cm now.

Re: November 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
I’d estimate we got about 14cm here. Could have been a little more but it rained while I was in Vic so it compacted some.

Thanks Tsnowy yeah one of those rotation set ups it's difficult to tell how much penintrates into the central valley
I've seen my area miss while western areas score.
Need rotation on more of a NE trajectory this left turn doesn't work.
Still learning all this stuff but you guy's help alot what to look for as well much appreciated.

Re: November 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
Hopefully @CanadaGoose and @RobertsCreeker are the winners with that, since they had the lowest totals on the forum today. Along with the southern island folks at sea level.SouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Tue Nov 29, 2022 11:41 pm Thanks Tsnowy yeah one of those rotation set ups it's difficult to tell how much penintrates into the central valley

Re: November 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
Been following the AF and it's a #surprise for the northern half of the Seattle metro area. After the warnings were cancelled due to a quicker than anticipated transition to rain, cold air leaking through Snoqualmie pass has changed things back to wet snow in many areas. Weather warnings reissued. Quite the temperature gradient, too: some areas are as warm as 7ËšC while others not far away are at 0ËšC with sticking snow.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Re: November 2022 Forecasts and Discussions
That's insane, Tsmart do you recall the big dump back in December 23rd 97 we received 25cm in Coquitlam/Poco. I recall that night l was working in Coquitlam just down near the casino the Knuckles were playing that night Mike Keegan was coach might have been the Flames home game here l think Knucks lost but the post game show callers were saying it took them hours to get home as well after work this event is half that.
