Seems like when it comes to flurries we get more unexpected surprises then plain old rain showers.

I am here,
Enjoying the snow some what, had spinal disc removal, and fusion surgery 6 weeks ago, so have not been out much, we did receive about 35 cm of snow

Moisture is easier to squeeze out of colder air. Requires less lift. I think Chris Doyle or another of the pro mets on Twitter mentioned it a couple days ago.
