How can this be a problem it was bone dry to begin with it's not like it rained then iced up and snowed on top.

It pretty much dried up downtown 2 hours ago but I gather it's still flurrying areas nearer the Fraser River?

EC should have really gone with an SWS at least. The Euro and GFS had been hinting about something like this since the weekend, and then it started showing up in the short-term models. It doesn’t take much snow to cause slippery roads when it’s cold enough to accumulate easily.
OTOH, the lack of an SWS coupled with the forum going down yesterday evening really convinced me it was going to happen.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Mostly well south of it last I looked at the radar.
I would say I'm up to around 2 cm for the day now. That's what I've recorded in the totals, anyhow. I don't do fractional cm.

So SOTF special today. NOTF special tonight to even things out? One can hope.

A special weather statement wouldn't of mattered for how dumb drivers are. 99 percent of the population doesn't look at that.
Up to 3.5 cm
