Re: February 2023 Forecasts And Discussions
That can and does happen at times (see February 2021). Usually it is a sign of a system tracking just a little too far south to be optimal for the BC Lower Mainland.SouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Mon Feb 27, 2023 10:13 am Crap Bellingham and Hood canal do well weird not Hood canal l understand they can do good but Bellingham looks suspicious to me.![]()

I have a feeling that the models won't peg the winners and losers of this one. Basically throwing darts at a board right now.Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Mon Feb 27, 2023 10:08 am 12Z Euro says westernmost areas lose out.

Re: February 2023 Forecasts And Discussions
Always bad to bet against the Euro. The question is: is that part of a trend, or is it a blip? The 18Z should clear things up.
Still shows snow coming, and given how good this season has been already I can't complain.

Re: February 2023 Forecasts And Discussions
Deformation zones are tricky for models to pinpoint.
Considering as of last night EC had a few showers or flurries on the forecast for today, there are going to be some surprised people looking out the window today.

Re: February 2023 Forecasts And Discussions
BTW it's hilarious Rubes whenever you post your snowfall or something good snow wise on the AF they totally ignore you and Monty are they that narrow minded or is it a mental problem? It's funny to see but also rude IMO.
