I will be very surprised if it does not snow at all next winter.VanCitySouth wrote: ↑Fri Mar 10, 2023 11:13 am Promises, promises.
But seriously I like many on this forum think it might be over for snow for several years now...hope not, but the cards seem stacked against us for a few winters.

Never been a winter in recorded history where it hasn't snowed. I suppose there's always a first!VanCitySouth wrote: ↑Fri Mar 10, 2023 11:13 am Promises, promises.

Guys, guys, I don't mean that it won't snow at all next winter. I just mean that it might be a lot less than the recent two. Perhaps I was a little overdramatic in my pronouncement.

Re: March 2023 Forecasts And Discussions
A January cold snap (garden-variety with respect to temperatures) with a widespread inch or two of snow... and that's it for the entire winter. Then I can spend the entire rest of the non-winter winter ribbing Jim about it on the AF: “Hey, we finally scored a January cold snap, didn’t we? Isn’t this great? Much better than all those losing winters with big dumps in February, isn’t it? Isn’t it great to finally get what you wished for?â€Âwetcoast91 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 10, 2023 2:19 pm 2015-16 was close!

Completely given up on us ever getting a cold January again. One can only get burned so many times before they throw in the towel.wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 10, 2023 2:19 pm 2015-16 was close!

Re: March 2023 Forecasts And Discussions
Sort of like me and snow in March. Never seen more than a fleeting slushy flurry fall in 30+ years.
When I lived in Seattle, Portland or Vancouver got sticking snow in March.
When I lived in Portland, Seattle or Vancouver did.
But never, ever, IMBY.
It has snowed in the lowlands of Western Oregon at least three times this month. Even sometimes in coastal areas. Newport reported snow this morning. It was 5°C and raining IMBY this morning.

So what you're saying is, Typer needs to get out of the LM before we get a cold January?Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Fri Mar 10, 2023 3:58 pm Sort of like me and snow in March. Never seen more than a fleeting slushy flurry fall in 30+ years.
