I tried viewing the forum a couple of hours ago and got a weird error, looked like html and no forum. I'm happy it's back up.

Darn was hoping the Wagner group would roll into Moscow.
However the Wagner boss Prigozhin going to Belarus he'll either disappear be pushed out a window or poisoned.
Only reach a high of 20c in the central valley the cloud cover really limited the high temperature today, E.C. is forecasting 28c tomorrow for the central valley.

Juat spent a week at my cabin at Charlotte Lake. New snow on the peaks earlier in the week is now melting. Just drove from Nimpo Lake in the Chilcotin to Coquitlam today. Alot of active weather, including thundershowers near Williams Lake and Lac LA Hache and torrential downpours in the Fraser Canyon near Boston Bar. The interior is pretty wet right now fire danger is low in the Chilcotin, and the rivers and streams are actually a lot higher than I thought they would be. One of the things I did notice is that the snow pack looks more like late July or early August than it does late June on all the peaks in SW BC. Not good.

Awesome Cmen79 sounds like lots of summer instability from the Canyon north which is fine for now if the snow pack is that low for nearing the end of June so we need moderate temperatures especially in the interior to continue indeed.

On June 28th, 2021, YXX reported a temperature of 42.2C with a dew point of 20.1C. This resulted in a Humidex value of 50C.

It will be interesting to see if we ever experience another heatwave on that scale in our lifetime. I doubt it but it's impossible to say for sure. My guess is that it's an event as rare as the October 1962 windstorm. We have yet to see a repeat of that event.

Hopefully we get a nice summer without smoke and periods of heat and some cooler days to keep the heat manageable. 8-)
We will definitely see another heatwave like that in our lifetimes. Don't be surprised if we see it anytime between now to 5 years from now. It will just keep getting worse imo.

There is definitely a gremlin or two in the system. It can't just be a user issue as it has been multiple users having the same type of problem. I am far too tech illiterate to even begin to understand what the issue is.
