Yes you can say it Rubus..Similkameeens. Quite a nice area isnt it? Only 2 - 2.5 hours away.
I'm heading up there for a few days so I will update you all in the coming days.
Weather there is about the same as here last few weeks. Except more showers and rainfall totals up there during that time frame I guess I dunno..seems like it tho..due to some persistent troffiness. Looks like some instability over the next few days with T-Storms
Stay safe buttees
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

Christmas  actually sounds reasonable seeing the burn ban remains ineffect until Oct 31st. :o  it reached a high of 32c in the central valley today @ the pond in south Sardis.

Nice! Since we sacrificed airplanes for snow, do you think anyone would miss the semi? Maybe it'd give us rain and even a t-storm.

Looks like Sechelt was the cool spot, high of 29.7c today.

Made all the more gross with the mugginess and smoke. Smoke + muggy makes the air feel filthy. It's not just sticky, it's like someone is smearing grease on you.

AbbyJr wrote: Wed Jul 05, 2023 3:58 pm Is it common for home weather station humidity and dew point readings to be inaccurate? I'm just curious because my humidity and dew point readings are often around 8-10C lower than YXX. My sensor is located in the shade. Maybe it's just microclimate but honestly, it feels a lot more humid right now than my station currently shows. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas? Thanks my friends. :D
It can definitely be wrong, but it also depends on your microclimate. If you have lots of concrete and not much vegetation, humidity will be less.

My humidity and dew point is usually higher than YXX on sunny days, but my yard is full of trees and vegetation which releases moisture. YXX is just grass which has mostly turned brown, so I expect the humidity to be lower there.

A dew point 8-10C lower than YXX seems egregious though.
