Yeah there's patchy smoke here in Kamloops from that fire to the south of the city with a bit of ash too -- smoke was really visible around Savona on hwy 1 earlier this afternoon looking east towards Kamloops.

One of my favourite smells is probably petrichor.

I wonder if we're pre-conditioned to like that smell because it signals the end of a long dry spell and that was a good thing in terms of food availability and survival etc.

Squamish forecast to get 30-35mm of rain with this event. It looks like it could be locally more if they get the T-Storms that are forecasted as well :shock:
Looks like a much needed and proper pumbling of rain! :clap:
