Yes l recall this windstorm it took out part of skipper Grumps pier in Wrinkle Rock. we reached a high 10c @ the pond in south Sardis.

Cant make snow either with the ridiculously high freezing levels coming.

Buying a ski pass during a super El Nino winter is generally not a good idea.

I watched his forecast video. He was clearly using evidence based reasoning. Looking at the current conditions in the tropical pacific compared with 1972/73, there are a lot of similarities. While there is no guarantee the same outcome will verify, Pete Parsons is a meteorologist and is not interested in simply wish casting.

I'm not taking away from his credentials whatsoever! But simply posting every year/winter that we will see some 1950 winter or bringing up years like the 60/70s won't make it happen. The climate has changed. That doesn't mean we won't see snow because we will, but it's still wishcasting to believe that will happen yearly when, in reality, it probably won't

John! yes it was even here in the central valley it was our first winter out here l believe the windstorm was on Dec 20th.
No frost here in the central valley this morning it's currently plus 5c the low this morning was 2c.

December 2015 was actually a very good month, snow-wise for the mountains. Lots of cold rain for the lowlands with minor slush events.
