C+ as well. The depth of that protracted cold snap and the Jan 17 snowfall were impressive.SouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Thu Feb 22, 2024 12:46 am Good morning forum friends since winter has come to an end.![]()

Re: February 2024 Forecasts and Discussions
Solid dump of snow in the Chilcotin this week, or rather, on the West Chilcotin as is typical. 15 cm on the West Side of Tatla Lake, and maybe 5 cm at Puntzi Mountain on the east side of the lake. By the time you get to Williams Lake nothing, although up at the elevation of the airport there was certainly a little bit of snow.
But 3 km south of Tatla Lake it was about 8 cm, and a few more km south at Tatlayoko Lake it was a light skiff.
Here is Tatlayoko Lake yesterday...
And Tatla Lake...
And Puntzi Mountain....
And Williams Lake...

Cold air retreats too fast.
Sun angles.
Too dry.
Gradual moderation.
Moves east.
Moves South.
Monty special.
Border forcefield.
Freezing rain.
Fish gets smacked.
