As soon as I said my last comment...the lightning seems to have become less frequent and radar shows the blob breaking apart.

Just got home from south Surrey. It was cool seeing the flashes way off to the south. It's extremely windy here right now. Knocked a lot of crap off the trees already. Pine cones all over the road.
