I saw the sky lit up twice in just a few minutes, very far to the south and just a quiet rumble the first time, no sound the second time. No wind here, I could see the moon about 10 minutes before the lightning.

Vancouver Island reporting wind, rain, lightning and thunder.

Edit: 11:50 Wind just started, it's a good wind, I can hear things hitting the window.

Nice Houndsie nothing to report from the central valley after a high of 31c it's currently 23c with some refreshing gusty SW winds.

Nice l haven't seen this many members in the house since skipper Grumps last comedy failure. l guess Johnny can't take these late nights anymore that Vitog really kicks in. Perhaps if we get some rumbles out this way John may be aroused out of his sleep.

I just got back from Westwood Plateau and Burke Mountain. I got a great show from up there! Now I'm home and finally heard the first rumble.

I'm now able to see lightning from my place off to the east towards Langley. Getting brighter each time. No thunder audible yet.

Skunked again in the central valley this band is all pulling off to the NW disappointing indeed. Hopefully there's more in store overnight or tomorrow.
