What a refreshing rain event. I ended up with 20mm on August 23 and another 33.7mm on the 24th. That gives me a storm total of 53.7mm.

A whopping 65mm fell in the pond in south Sardis from Friday the 23rd to Saturday the 24th.

Yeah, that's annoying. No one except weather nerds is going to do that much work to find the data.

My guess is, they changed something else which caused it to break, so they took it down. Maybe just temporary. The more people complain, the sooner they will fix it.
