Inversion doesn't look promising for a freeze with potential clouds and fog putting a dent on overnight mins.

Really hoping we can hold off a freeze until January. It would be nice to keep the grass growing for my usual weekly mow.

GFS can't seem to project surface level cold well -- my guess is we see 400-600m snow levels with that setup.

Wouldn't surprise me since we are in a -ENSO/+QBO phase. It seems unlikely to me that the cold doesn't shift west during such conditions.

GFS has been massively overdoing low level cold.

First time showed 5-10cm which turned into a slushy dusting on Burnaby Mountain.

2nd time showed 2-5cm tonight into tomorrow a few nights ago which turned into +6C rain .
