Ya, personally I’d just look at the end of this week/weekend. Even that isn’t decided yet, let alone next week.

You need that trough to shift ever so slightly eastward. Most energy remains far offshore. You see a developing shortwave on Sunday but this gets pushed away by the outflow.

Moisture totals aren't the best.

Typically see an east trend in the lead up to a modeled cold snap. We'll see!

Right and that's the problem with the AF there looking for perfection the whole run. I would be excited at the possibilities this weekend 7 days out is who cares territory at this point.

It did shift east in comparison with the 18z. Baby steps.

Typically see an east trend in the lead up to a modeled cold snap. We'll see!

So it's best if it shows further off shore so it can trend east over the next few days and be in the sweet spot by go time?
