Definitely, they are. My post wasn't meant to throw EC under the bus, but they should be more proactive instead of reactive, because by then it's already too late, and credibility is gone.

Especially with how bad Drivers are here even with 1 cm. I think they should be proactive for once. Leave a note or something to prepare people. Even if it doesn't happen, at least you've warned the public.

February is the new January! I do have a theory why February has become our go-to in this warmer climate.

Models are models. The forecast actually looks pretty spot on for YVR. Upper obvs are cold but temps near sea level could rise to +3 or +4 when precip isn't falling. There could be rain showers in areas near sea level while Catnip and Hound see 15cm and models will generally do poorly in these setups. It's why you still need human input to correct this.

I expect EC to release a statement by tomorrow.
