More like condescending us. Every single person here knows that snow totals don’t reflect snow depth verbatim. Higher snow totals means higher snow depth either way, even if total>depth.

18Z Icon snowfall map... for discussion purposes. These will continue to change and most of the time they are incorrect on both ends.

Sorry that the site is struggling for everyone. One day I hope to be able to move it to something more snappy. My first goal is to move my email off to something else and then I can potentially feel more "freedom" to move it to whatever seems to be a good price for the performance that I can afford.

This is very encouraging! The models were spot on with last year snowstorm.

Someone literally posted in here "40 cm in Abbotsford" when no model output has ever showed 40 cm of accumulation . Accumulating snow and snowfall are very different measures and many people here actually mean snow accumulation is what they care about. People say the models are wrong when often times it is simply their interpretation of the model that is wrong.

Yes, when the 2 guys running the site from Salmon Arm did human based forecasts and a synopsis. Currently on that site it's all computer generated forecasts so hard to say how accurate it is.

What!? Why would you move? You lived in a decent area! Especially for a snow lover! I guess this is to stop driving the horrendous drive to the airport everyday. I'd move too and sacrifice my love of snow to avoid driving from Surrey to the Airport, but if you are in Ladner, you STILL have to take the horrendous tunnel!!

Nice to see it snowing on our local hills again. They were looking pretty grim.
