The Euro has been brutal the past few years. I still remember it spitting out a 10-15cm snowfall back in November.

Looks like the clouds are parting here. Should be a nice afternoon.

Fraser Valley should definitely get something out of this.

Ohhh. Yeah. I'm merely thinking of west of there. But if that's an indication of it's accuracy of this event then that's not promising

Jesus! It's cooler in Victoria, than it is here. I grew up in Victoria and the intersects always true. My grandmother lived in Parksville and , although not every winter, she was always colder and had snow, when Victoria was mild with rain. How the climate has changed

I think the Lower mainland will do really well tomorrow and tomorrow night. Probably widespread 10cm but some local pockets of 20-25cm are highly likely.

I think you've convinced me. Mesos have sniffed this one out. 5-10 cm across Metro with some pockets of big winners and donuts.

You still lose big in the big picture. You said mild rain and 12c from now until the end of time. And with 2 weeks of arctic air in front of us much more time to lose even bigger :alert:

Also, we could still be massively wrong here. I'm still thinking 40/60 Euro vs mesoscale odds.

Even if I get 5-10 cm going into an extended arctic blast that's not even close to a bust. Offer me that 2 weeks ago and I would've been practically crying with joy. The models teased a huge one and it could still happen but it's looking a little tenuous.

Looking at the precip.maps for tomorrow, I'll be lucky to see any flakes at all

Agreed.

The models will likely get this one wrong. It will be a nowcast. I expect some areas to score big and others not so much. :flakey:
