Prairies vibes. Dry/cold, alternating with flurries with minor accumulations.

Was that Low forecast to stall W of the Olympics for 12 hours?
NWS said the models were struggling with last nights Low track and associated precip. I think they did a decent job. :dunno:

However, it is a very nice #surprises, when there is still no concrete forecast available 6-12 hours out and variability looms for precip amounts.

On another note, did EC nail this again or what??
S/SE sections of the LM > 2-4 cms, with some places exceeding 5cm. Bang on pretty much

this morning snow shovelling reminded me of Similkameeens snows. Light, fluffy, powdery. Soooo easy to push around, unlike most of our sloppy, slushy messes of snowfalls

Decent overrunning snows after. We don't see much mountain rain on this Euro run. 60cm+ snow up on the hills. Stays cooler than average at the surface.

I'm hoping March might bring epic skiing, and it kind of sounds like you're on board with that this year?
