I have been off of Twitter for many months for this reason

But to be fair, your location has had some really nice events where others got nothing, like Dec 2020 for one quick example.

The lack of an overrunning is a real bummer here. Just didn't work out for whatever reason. Maybe March will give us some slushy fun!
Yes that's what l mentioned earlier that since moving here in 2018 l can't complain. I'm glad most saw something especially Jr. Man in Abby which is the brunt of the no snow jokes.especially Ms. Robertscreeks what a surprise. Ya M1deserved his dump of snow despite his whining. It's too bad it's ending in moderation unless there's a dramatic shift but not likely.

The reload is not here yet.
And, the reload is looking pretty pointless temp wise and snow wise. A bit of a disappointment but this winter just has that dawg in it to disappoint you when you think it's getting good.
Regardless, I've enjoyed this event even in it's modified form. Nice to get something out of nothing. Snow 5 out of the last 7 days and some nice beautiful mornings with it. No mud being tracked in with the dogs is a huge plus! I would now be happy with a mountain snow pattern to take over, especially as we head into march and the ski hills get a little less busy. However those patterns have been so infrequent lately that I would expect almost anything else.
The reload brings in some dry continental air. Should make for some impressive temp swings. +5C highs and lows near -8C. Also lots of sunshine which is a bonus.

That should be fun Neators, grab a tube of anus cream and off the temps go in a downsloping of anus warm outflow looking forward to it.

That aleutian low is back in the fray. We get brushed by a few weak systems but it now looks like it will be drier than normal the next few weeks with west coast ridging returning.

What a bummer.

March has to be wet. :dunno:

You're right. I'll check the east Vanc Island weather sometimes to see what might be possibly heading our way, so often the Sunshine Coast doesn't get a mention.
