Yeah, it’s a south-facing hillside microclimate. As you said, it’s typically pretty close by the afternoon.SouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2025 3:01 pm In the summer sunny mornings it always seemed that my Mission location was 2c warmer than YXX especially in the morning hours like 9a.m. to noon. YXX would eventually catch up by early afternoon.

Wet and mild into ridging by early March.
Continued cold out East. Bad news for many communities in Ontario. I hear one region has snow drifts exceeding 4 meters.
Near Wingham

One for the record books out there.

Will be 12c but it sure looks wet. Models back to ridging before even the end of the month?! I don't remember a winter as "ridgy" as this one. Maybe 2000-2001. Or 2015 that El Nino nightmare coupled with the "blob the year it barely snowed in the mountains.SouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2025 7:06 pm Ya wee bit much for this sardine need to get to work Neetzzzo don't mind the pix from afar bring on the 12c this weekend.![]()

Very ridgy. I was thinking those long range winter forecasts weren't really that far off except it's been very mild for most of this winterCoquitlam79 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2025 10:39 pm Will be 12c but it sure looks wet. Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++
