Yeah, it’s a south-facing hillside microclimate. As you said, it’s typically pretty close by the afternoon.

Must be native to the south slopes of Mission l'm not a plant expert crocuses? I do like the colors of spring after months of bare and brown.

Wet and mild into ridging by early March.

Continued cold out East. Bad news for many communities in Ontario. I hear one region has snow drifts exceeding 4 meters.

Will be 12c but it sure looks wet. Models back to ridging before even the end of the month?! I don't remember a winter as "ridgy" as this one. Maybe 2000-2001. Or 2015 that El Nino nightmare coupled with the "blob the year it barely snowed in the mountains.

Very ridgy. I was thinking those long range winter forecasts weren't really that far off except it's been very mild for most of this winter
