It’s pretty nasty here in East Van right now. Time to get the A/C and the HEPA filter out of storage.stuffradio wrote: ↑Fri Aug 29, 2025 7:08 am I was in Chilliwack again last night. It was very peaceful but definitely smoky.

Ya well Rubes out here in the central valley desert it's terrible you'd have to change that filter every day man.Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Fri Aug 29, 2025 11:24 am It’s pretty nasty here in East Van right now. Time to get the A/C and the HEPA filter out of storage.

Re: August 2025 Forecasts and Discussion
Dew point has been as high as 20.7˚C here today. And it's nasty and gunky out.
Have closed up and have the A/C and the HEPA filter going. The former is dripping condensate at a good pace.

Yet another well above average summer. At least we got the rain we did, although that is becoming a distant memory already.

I think many of you don't realize what's in store for us next week... It'll be like June 2021, but in September.

At face value 850mb temps at 25c could translate to surface temps around here (YVR excluded) pushing 35c.Canada Goose wrote: ↑Fri Aug 29, 2025 5:36 pm I think many of you don't realize what's in store for us next week... It'll be like June 2021, but in September.
