Re: October 2025 Forecasts and Discussions
The HRDPS shows higher rain totals for Friday in Abbotsford than the RGEM. I find this interesting as it's usually the opposite.

Re-ignites my fantasies of moving to Cumberland.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Re: October 2025 Forecasts and Discussions
I don't think I do. Thickness is forecasted to drop to 530 or slightly below a couple of times. Remember sea level snow is in the 520-525 range.

Re: October 2025 Forecasts and Discussions
Yup. Both the HRDPS and RGEM have significantly backed off on rainfall totals.
But looks quite windy Saturday night with gusts potentially reaching 70km/h south of the Fraser.

13.2˚C at 22:17. Probably will stay in the double digits overnight.

Re: October 2025 Forecasts and Discussions
Follow-up system Saturday afternoon into Sunday morning looks to bring in another wave of precip and usher in cooler air from the W/NW. Freezing levels could be low enough for snow on the north shore mountains.Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Thu Oct 23, 2025 10:17 pm 13.2˚C at 22:17. Probably will stay in the double digits overnight.
