It looks like it's possible that Halloween will be wet.

Pretty clear model consensus that today’s pineapples will be followed by chillier weather next week.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Quite the rain shadow this morning. I was able to ride from Surrey to Burnaby and barely got wet.

Rainfall totals not impressive in the metro Vancouver area with this system as the rain shadow is winning.

Yesterday's wind was crazy! Chinook all night long where I was at at my mom's place. +10 by morning. By contrast, Puntzi Mountain, half an hour down the road was -5 overnight and the coldest spot in BC.

Yeah, I've got moderate rain in Mission with almost 12 mm since midnight, but in Abbotsford the ground is barely wet (I estimate less than 1 mm has fallen). Also about 3C cooler in Mission.

I remember living there Abby Sr. the difference in precip totals between Mission and Abby was insane sometimes. :o l'm noticing the difference between Harrison and south Sardis now way more precip out here.

10-15 mm in Coquitlam. Wow, what an AR!

120 mm for the month. "Only" 150 mm more to reach the monthly normal...

Some models are showing Halloween to be quite wet. You probably won't get 150 mm in the next week but I wouldn't be surprised if we see another 50-75mm between now and next Friday.

Yeah, I'll believe it when I see it. The models have been unreliable for months now.
